Workshop conditions


I ___________________________________________ understand that my participation in the PLDA Workshop in Panaji, Goa/IND 2011 may require me to carry out some or all of the following activities in the exterior and interior environment:

  • Working at height

  • Rigging electrical equipment including luminaires, lamps and associated equipment

  • Carrying heavy objects

  • Handling cables, plugs and other electrical equipment including making connections

  • Working in water

  • Working in prevailing weather conditions

  • Working during daylight hours and after dark

  • Working on the public highway

  • Working long hours

  • Working on prevailing terrain

  • Other activities associated with the design and installation of temporary lighting schemes


I have been informed about the above risks and undertake to exercise all due care and diligence to ensure that I do not cause harm or injury to myself or others during the course of the workshop.
